When the St. Louis Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors held a review and forecast of the St. Louis commercial real estate industry in 1984, we had no idea the event would grow to be the largest commercial real estate event in St. Louis 25 years later. Held March 25, 2009, the 25th Anniversary SIOR St. Louis Metro Market Forecast attracted more than 600 people to the Ritz-Carlton St. Louis.
Attended by real estate professionals,
bankers, insurance brokers, economic developers, accountants, contractors and mortgage brokers from throughout
the St. Louis metropolitan area, the forecast provides an overview of the previous year's major commercial real
estate deals and transactions and a forecast of where the market is headed the current year. The event includes
a national overview and comparison from the SIOR international president. In 2009, local professionals
presented on the office, industrial and retail markets, along with a timely presentation on capital markets.
We'll post details about the 2010 Metro Market Forecast later this year. To view the 2009 presentations, please click on the links below.
